This newly-styled and redesigned beach cottage offers a serene getaway in East Hampton. Across from the Accabonac cliffs, this retreat sits on a quiet lane tucked away in the trees. Windows in every room allow natural light to peek through the trees and brighten up the sophisticated, tasteful interior. Plants placed throughout enhance the indoor-outdoor living of the cottage. The large living room with a fireplace is the perfect place to curl up with a good book or chat the day away. Whip up breakfast in the inviting kitchen featuring retro, peach-colored cabinets, and the kitchen appliances and tools you need to make satisfying meals. Sip coffee brewed in the Keurig and read the morning paper at the breakfast area in the kitchen with two chairs. Break bread in the dining area by the porch, which has a table accommodating five guests. The large screened-in porch with a table and three chairs provide another space for effortless indoor-outdoor living. There is also a full, finished basement, laundry, and the essentials you need to feel right at home. Fire up the grill and cook burgers, brats, and veggies in the peaceful, shaded backyard. The yard has a camp-like feel with tree stumps you can sit on and provides plenty of space to enjoy.

The home leads to several beach access points in Barnes Landing. Take a short walk down the block to the long stretch of pristine shoreline at Gardiners Beach. Take out a kayak or paddle board for more fun water activities. Other ocean beaches are a few miles away. The private homeowners association offers guests beach rights and a communal overlook deck and sitting area to take in the scenery. Amagansett Village is nearby, where you will find great restaurants, coffee shops, and farmer's markets. When you return from a day of fun in the sun, wash off the sand in the outdoor shower.
