of the most stunning private homes on Georgica Pond. This five bedroom,
five and a half bathroom, pond-front home with ocean view and elevator,
features a roof deck and 54’ gunite pool
as built by Tina Fredericks, a onetime
art director for Glamour Magazine who was later known as The Hamptons’
“Realtor to the Stars.” She “gave Andy Warhol his first job, which was
drawing women's shoes,” Architectural Digest wrote in a story about the house, “she had definite ideas about design.”
The secluded 2.3 acre waterfront property, located down a long, meandering driveway in the Georgica Estate section of East Hampton, has direct evening sunsets that color the sky from all angles. The open interior and liberal use of glass frame views of the pond and the ocean. A large wrap-around third floor deck is the perfect place for a sunset dinner party and secondary porches and balconies provide private overlooks of the surrounding gardens, pond, and ocean.
A private path leads to the sandy shore of Georgica Pond where you can kayak or canoe to one of the most secluded beaches in The Hamptons. After the beach, don’t forget to take a dip in the brand new 18’ X 54’ saltwater gunite pool surrounded by lush gardens.”
EAST, The East Hampton Star’s magazine, wrote, “The house is dense with inspired design moments such as deep, useful windowsills (an echo of Fredericks’s Berlin house), alcoves like the sleeping bay to nap or read, a skylight that pours sun into a place of transition before you enter a room, a south-facing stone bench, and an elevator with a view: As you rise, a window reveals artwork and photography — including Diane Arbus’s — finally revealing the pièce de résistance, an expansive view of the water at the rooftop cupola level.

A unique and energizing location with a home that opens up the soul and vision of Tina Fredericks who built the home after owning the property for decades. Serene, sublime and private, the house affords its guests special places to curl up and enjoy the moment. Also, we loved out daily paddle board rides around the stunning Pond and onto the Hampton beaches; none better in the world. After your beach run, surfing or boogie boarding adventure, you can relax in the amazing pool area surrounded by a sensual and beautiful garden. It is as special as any swimming pool setting we have enjoyed in all of our travels around the world. And when it is time to eat, grill the best seafood available or bring home a lobster clam bake from the seafood shop which is only 5 minutes away. Dinner on the outdoor patio is a perfect end to a wonderful day, over and over at this amazing home. Our hosts, Jon and Stacey, were attentive, thorough and considerate. We can’t wait to return!!\"

We spent a month in this beautiful, unique home on a perfect plot of land for the energetic kayaking, biking and swimming in the heated pool. Each day we also had creative culinary time in the well-equipped kitchen and savored the meals around the large round table rocking in the chairs and viewing the pond and ocean beyond from the windows everywhere. The home had lots of rooms for our visiting family and lots of cozy nooks for reading but our favorite place was the crows nest above it all where we took the elevator up each day to watch the natural world unfold before us. The hosts were very attentive to us with communication and helpful that they had a group of people who they employ nearby the home so everything ran smoothly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn\'t want to leave.
